Reflection 11.08.17
Maths: In maths this week we I found that working with groups on the mat with the figure it out book was a bit difficult because the questions were a little hard. I liked solving the maths questions in our book with the donut gang group.

Reading: In reading this week I liked doing book talk and finishing my sentences with the spelling words. I also enjoyed doing the handwriting.

Writing: In writing we practiced writing our letters and making sure that they went the right way and I liked using the colours to colour code them.

Hiking Adventure
In week 7 Kahikatea team went for a mountain biking trip on mount Pirongia. I went hiking and so did lots of other people. We walked for 3 hours and we also had to walk through streams. It was awesome! our shoes were so wet and muddy after the walk. There were sticks with orange tape on the way so that people knew where the track was. I found lots of blackberries on the way. It was great fun.
Inquiry
Rm:8
In room 8 this term  we have been learning about rhythm, pitch and timbre. We listened to lots of cool sounds and music and then we had to say how it made us feel and what type of music it was. One time we also scribbled in our book with our eyes closed while the music was playing and then we opened our eyes and saw what we drew about the music that we herd.

Rm:9
In room 9 we have been going for walks around Pirongia  and we have started our filming. Me and my group have started our film at the redoubt. I liked the films I took and it is a lot of fun going for the walks.

Rm:10
In room 10 Kahikatea team made up some Integrity games for Rata team. Me and my group's game was an obstacle course and involved a lot of equipment. The kids did the games really well and I enjoyed making the game up with my group.
