Term 2 Proud moment Gym sports

In term 2 I was proud of myself because i went to the Te Awamutu gym sports festival and I came 1st place in the year 5 and 6  woman's springers.

In term 4 I was proud of myself because I participated in the athletics for 2016. I came third place in the ten year old girls middle distance 

Inquiry

In Term 2 i made a 3.D model about planet earth and beyond we also thought up a question that interested us. My question was why does the earth rotate around the sun. My answer was because of gravitational forces which is why we have day and night. We showed all of our models on Tuesday night and made videos about our models and showed them as well. We did parts of our model each week in room 9 and brought in material and after the Tuesday night we took our models home.

Last term we did master chef and cooked for the whole school and I liked helping out. It was my first time doing something like that and I was happy that we got to raise money for the snow camp.It was also my first time doing the tough guy challenge on that same day and it was really fun.

my art blog

This term we have done some art pieces  and learnt about different artists, we did four different types with different styles of art. We did our art with a message in it and mine was stop littering. For photography went outside and took a picture and  for starry night we painted a picture, for graffiti we wrote something on paper and dyed the back round and for Cubism we drew a picture with our message in it with the style of Cubism and finally we shared them at assembly.

I am happy with this piece because we could use paint and I got to put something different in it like all the rubbish.
